All the photographs used in this book are from the US Army, apart from those captioned "La Gleize Museum". The pictures showing German troops in action were originally taken by Wehrmacht photographers and cameramen, but were later Captured by the US Army, some (Poteau, Kaiserbarracke) as early as the end of December 1944 and the remainder later in 1945.
This text and selection of illustrations has been worked up by the author from research material carried out for his book Battle of the Bulge (538 pp, more than 1200 photographs) published by After the Battle, London.
